The Lodge, home to Marilyn and Charles Betty for almost 20 years, is a spacious comfortable, detached mid-Georgian cottage. Situated right on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, with open aspects to Throxenby Mere, it is nevertheless only 1.5 miles to Scarborough town centre and the beaches at north and south bays.

There is a large garden which guests are invited to relax in, sun loungers are available when appropriate, although you may be required to share both with Thomas, our resident cat.

Marilyn, a chef by profession with a great love of, and respect for, good food can provide a delicious dinner by prior arrangement; otherwise there are many dining options available in the near vicinity.
